It is a purchasable upgrade, not a free update to download. You won’t find the version 4.5 upgrade on the website. It might be something real simple to correct.īut provided you have all the correct things in place like computer requirements, correct installation etc, MBX version 4 should work. It may be that upgrading to MBX v4.5 IS the way to go but without knowing all the details I would just be guessing, so my advice would be to wait until you have a reply from the helpline. But if you have not heard back by the New Year, contact me again with ALL the pertinent details & I will contact them on your behalf. It is also almost Christmas which might cause further delays. There is sometimes a bit of a delay in getting a reply as it is a very busy helpline which looks after the whole of North America.

Hi Terry, I have no idea what the issues are that you are having with MBX. There is also a Software Helpline that you may email – access in or Liz JANOME CANADA Like. You don’t say where you purchased the upgrade to your software: your Janome dealer should be able to answer his question as well for you. And yes, you do have cross stitch fill with the freehand tool but you also do have the whole cross stitch package too in this version of the software.
